Titanic 2.0

Clive Palmer is set on building a to scale a remake of this famous ship the Titanic. In the Courier Mail  it is stated that the remake of this legendary ship will set Palmer back a estimated 500 Million Dollars, which seems to be just a small price to pay for the billionaire. 

I can understand the fascination with the Titanic and can understand why a Billionaire such as Palmer would want to rebuild the ship, however it also occurs to me  that why should he spend his money on the titanic instead of spending 500 million dollars on  charity or something that will benefit more. With saying that though I do believe that this would be a great boost for the tourism industry and will bring       people from around the world to bask in its glory.

 I have watched several interviews off Palmer on
this matter of why to build the Titanic. It seems to me that he is just doing this for his own   personal gain, not for tourism or national revenues.
